Who we are
MKB Site (sole trader, Lithuania) provides website development and digital design services. Website: mkbsite.lt. Email: sitesbymkb@gmail.com.
What data we collect
- Contact details - name, email address, phone number (optional).
- Project information - business description, requirements and preferences.
- Technical data - IP address, browser, OS, visit time (via Google Analytics).
- Communication history - emails and correspondence with our team.
We do not collect sensitive personal data (health, financial or similar information).
Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
- Contract - data is necessary to fulfil a service agreement.
- Legitimate interest - communication with prospective clients, website analytics.
- Consent - for newsletter subscriptions (separate opt-in).
How we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and provide a commercial proposal.
- To carry out the agreed service contract.
- To send important project-related notifications.
- To analyse website usage (aggregated, anonymous statistics only).
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party data sharing
- Google Analytics - website statistics (Google LLC, USA). Data is anonymised.
- Google Workspace - email communication.
- PayPal - payment processing (PayPal Holdings, USA).
All providers comply with GDPR requirements and apply appropriate safeguards.
Retention periods
- Contact data without a contract - 12 months from last contact.
- Contract data - 5 years (statutory accounting obligation).
- Technical logs - 90 days.
Your rights under GDPR
- Access - receive a copy of your data.
- Rectification - correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure - request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction - temporarily pause processing.
- Portability - receive your data in a structured format.
- Objection - object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdrawal of consent - at any time.

Terms of Service
1. Formation of agreement
A contract is formed when the client confirms the commercial proposal and pays the deposit.
2. Scope of services
The specific scope, functionality and timeline are defined in the project proposal. Any additional work must be agreed in writing and is priced separately.
3. Pricing and payment
- Prices listed on the website are indicative; the final price is agreed after consultation.
- 50% deposit before work begins.
- 50% balance before the website is handed over.
- Accepted methods: SEPA bank transfer (preferred), PayPal. All amounts in EUR.
- If payment is more than 14 days overdue, work may be suspended.
4. Delivery timeline
The timeline is stated in the proposal. It may change due to: delayed delivery of materials by the client, additional requests, or unforeseen technical circumstances. We will notify you of any delays in writing in advance.
5. Client obligations
- Provide required materials and access credentials on time.
- Submit feedback within 7 days of receiving a draft.
- Ensure the legality of all provided content (copyright and similar).
6. Revisions
Each plan includes a set number of free revisions (stated in the proposal). Additional revisions are charged at 30-60 EUR/hr.
7. Warranty
- 3-month warranty after launch - technical bugs are fixed at no charge.
- Does not cover: content changes, new functionality, or issues caused by the client or third parties.
- Ongoing support is available by agreement.
8. Intellectual property
- Upon full payment, all code and design passes to the client's ownership.
- MKB Site retains the right to use the project in its portfolio unless the client opts out in writing.
- Open-source libraries remain under their respective licences.
9. Limitation of liability
- MKB Site is not responsible for the legality of content provided by the client.
- Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the project.
- We are not liable for disruptions caused by third-party services (hosting, domains).
10. Termination
- The client may terminate in writing; completed work is charged proportionally and the deposit is non-refundable.
- MKB Site may terminate if the client breaches these terms.
11. Governing law
Lithuanian law applies. Disputes are resolved by negotiation; if unresolved - in the Vilnius Regional Court or via the EU ODR platform.
